Having reinvented himself, Jim has now built a new career dedicated to helping others with their mental health.
Meet Jim Morgan, our inspiring Mi365 Member of the Month a few years ago. Jim’s story is one of transformation, beginning with his struggle with poor mental health and negative self-talk. After deciding to move away from a fixed mindset, Jim began implementing rituals such as meditation, juicing, and journaling, which helped him improve his mindset and live in the present.
Jim highlights four key elements for success: access to a positive community, developing a positive mindset, self-awareness and emotional honesty, and compassion for both others and oneself. He also discusses the importance of connecting with nature, which has brought him a sense of calm and contentment.

In our special monthly episode, we are joined by our amazing Mi365 member of the month for March 2018: Jim Morgan!
Jim shares with us his story of how he stumbled across Mi365 after suffering from poor mental health and negative self-talk. After making the decision to move away from a fixed mindset, Jim tells us how he started to implement a series of rituals including meditation, juicing and journalling to improve his mindset and start to live in the present.
Jim and Pete discuss the importance of developing inner confidence; with Jim describing how connecting with nature has helped him become calmer and more content. Update on Jim Morgan since working with Pete Cohen - 4 plus years ago
So a lot has changed personally in a positive way for me over the last four or five years since I worked with Pete and mi365
So some highlights for me:
My mental health and confidence has improved tenfold fold in all areas of my life
I’ve been working as a coach now for seven years. I am currently working as a mental health therapeutic coach clients all over the world working in organisations at every level.
I have been working with over 700 different clients over the last few years in one-to-one coaching settings and I have delivered over 2000 hours of coaching.
I’m currently in the process of credential for my International coaching Federation- PCC credential accreditation
I’ve also been working as a Eco therapist, nature connection facilitator and forest bathing guide , leading and holding community groups in mental health well-being programs in the outdoors and the wild.
I am also currently in the middle of a personal challenge where I’m trying to Walk and hike the whole of the south-west coastal path 630 miles for a charity called Mind over Mountain , who provide vital services for people struggling with mental health challenges and encourages them to be outdoors and supporting them with counselling, therapy and coaching services. I’m currently 430 miles completed with my dog and wild camping as I go in places in a small tent .
With regards to my health and well-being. my health has never been better as I used to suffer from Crohn’s disease and viral issues which I seem to have under control nowadays. I’m engaged with fitness programs and mental health also and feel great but always the next step of growth
I was also trained in meditation teaching facilitation and Breathworks and so I’m looking for the opportunities with my clients and groups to involve these practices that have a profound impact on our mental health and well-being
I’m also involved as a fellow with The Bio leadership project who do amazing work around changing the narrative of leadership in order to help regenerate the health and well-being of our planet moving forward. I support their community programs outdoors and their transformational learning journeys.
Other things I’ve enjoyed doing I trained with Way of nature as a vision nature quest guide where we take people into the wild to spend time alone as a form of a transition in our lives and to facilitate transformational journeys .
I’ve been singing outdoors in forests with harmony choirs which I love and also ecstatic dancing as I love to dance and move.
As well as the above, I’m working on creating a network of nature sanctuary’s across the world where people can come and gather and share from their heart and sit in silence and quietness and be with nature all around.
To create safe spaces for reconnecting with nature , with ourselves and to help rewiid and regenerate our our wild and green spaces. I am also still single but I am working on this as we speak and hope to meet life partner one day very soon .
